The weight of the ECD engine assembly is 185 kg. The ECD engine number is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. Most engine problems are related to the quirks of piezoelectric injectors. There are also frequent power losses due to turbine geometry jamming. The timing belt is designed for 120,000 km, and its breakage is usually fatal for the engine. Many owners have experienced oil consumption of up to 1 liter per thousand km. This diesel version does not have a particulate filter, but it does have an EGR valve which often gets stuck.
