Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the ELF engine in assembly is 245 kg. The ELF engine number is located at the junction with the cylinder head. This engine is very reliable and has no weak points, but its fuel consumption is quite high. The most well-known breakdown of the engine is air suction through the intake manifold. Saving on the quality of lubrication often leads to sticking of hydraulic compensators. The impressive mass of this power unit greatly limits the lifespan of its supports. The fuel pump and water pump also have relatively low lifespan here.
