Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the EVE engine assembly is 240 kg. The engines in this series do not have an engine number. This is a very rare motor, so there may be problems with service and spare parts. Moreover, the engine is highly tuned and is considered the least reliable in the series. With aggressive driving and sudden starts, the timing chains can stretch as early as 100,000 km. The oil channels can get clogged with cheap lubricant, and the hydraulic compensators can stick. On the specialized forum, there are often complaints about failures of the electronic throttle unit.
