Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the N7U engine according to the catalog is 171 kg. The engine number N7U is located at the back, at the junction of the block with the cylinder head. The most well-known problem of this engine is lubricant leaks from the oil separator. Also, due to a clogged crankcase ventilation, there may be significant oil consumption. Change the timing belt more often than the recommended 120,000 km, as a broken valve can cause damage. Do not allow the power unit to overheat, as it quickly damages the gasket. The engine's weak points include its supports, water pump, thermostat, and fuel pump.
