Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the ZVSA engine according to the catalog is 165 kg. The engine number is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. By the time it was installed in the Galaxy, the main problems of this engine series had been solved. The only issue is that timing chains tend to stretch after driving 200,000 km. Cleaning the idle control valve will help eliminate fluctuating revs. Many owners have encountered leaks from the front and rear crankshaft seals. When using cheap oils, hydraulic lifters may start ticking at 100,000 km.
