The 2.0-liter turbo engine Subaru FA20F or FA20DIT was produced from 2012 to 2021 and installed in high-performance versions of well-known company models, such as Forester XT and Impreza WRX. In the engines of the first years of production, the RPMs were unstable until a new firmware was released. Some owners encountered malfunctions due to defective parts.
