Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the M264 engine according to the catalog is 135 kg. The engine number M264 is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. There are also a couple of expensive repair cases of the Camtronic system described on the forum. Due to direct injection, carbon deposits form on the intake valves and the engine revs fluctuate. There are also several complaints about glitches with the BSG 48V, as it discharges and refuses to charge.
