Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the M260 engine according to the catalog is 135 kg. The engine number M260 is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. This unit appeared not so long ago, so there is not enough statistics on its malfunctions. Fill it with AI-98 gasoline, as there have been cases of piston damage due to detonation. Rarely, but failures of the Camtronic system occur, and its repair is very expensive. Due to direct injection, carbon deposits form on the intake valves and the engine speed fluctuates. The gasoline engines in this lineup have a soot filter, and its lifespan is of interest.
