Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the engine 15P, when assembled, is 260 kg. The engine number 15P is located at the junction of the block and the cylinder head. The most common problems are caused by breaks in the wiring under the valve cover. The rocker arms and drive rockers for the pump-injector wear out quickly here as well. Fuel can enter the oil due to cracked injector sealing rings. The turbine control valve often malfunctions and the bypass valve stem gets stuck. Cracking of the cylinder head and crankshaft damper pulley is also regularly encountered.
