Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the EJ207 engine assembly is 155 kg. The engine number EJ207 is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. The most important thing is to control the oil pressure, as if it drops, the engine will seize. Lubricant consumption here is related not only to oil consumption but also to numerous leaks. Furthermore, there are problems with the insufficient efficiency of the cooling system. If the engine overheats frequently, soon the block will warp and cylinder noises will appear. It is also important to monitor the condition of the timing belt, as if it breaks, the valves will always be bent.
