Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the engine 192A2000 according to the catalog is 190 kg. The engine number 192A2000 is located at the joint of the block with the gearbox. The motor is reliable, but quite rare and some spare parts for it are expensive. The weak points of the unit include, perhaps, the not so durable phase regulator. According to the regulations, the timing belt is replaced every 90,000 km, but it doesn't always last that long. After 200-250 thousand km, wear of the camshaft lobes may occur. Also, on high mileage, piston rings often get stuck and oil consumption increases.
