Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the F33A-FTV engine assembly is 265 kg. The engine number F33A-FTV is located at the junction of the block and the gearbox. This diesel engine appeared recently, and there is no clear statistics on its malfunctions. Currently, the only common problem with the engine is the failure of the EGR injector. It is worth noting not only the high price of the injector but also the difficulties in purchasing it. Some owners complain about oil consumption, but often switching from 0W-20 to 5W-30 helps. The remaining complaints are related to malfunctions in the operation of the DPF filter and the AdBlue system.
