Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the G13BA engine assembly is 80 kg. The engine number G13BA is located at the junction with the gearbox. The main concerns of the owner here are related to the whims of the outdated fuel system. Additionally, this aluminum unit is very sensitive to overheating, especially its cylinder head. After 150,000 km, oil consumption often occurs due to worn oil control rings. Unreliable components of the engine ignition system also cause many problems. Since there are no hydraulic compensators, the valves need adjustment every 30,000 km.
