Engine Overview and Common Failures

The weight of the C3J engine assembly is 135 kg. The engine number C3J can be found on the cylinder block. This engine is quite reliable, and all its problems are typical for old engines. The most common issues that owners face are frequent failures in the electrical system. Regular cleaning of the injector and replacement of the gasket in the monoinjection system are often necessary. The timing chain does not have a long lifespan and often requires replacement at 150,000 km. Additionally, this engine is plagued by constant oil leaks through gaskets and seals.
