The 1.4-liter engine Mini One N12B14A was produced at the factory in England from 2007 to 2010 and installed in the simplest versions of the Mini model with the R56 body and in the Clubman estate with the R55 body. The most well-known problem of these engines is oil consumption and intake coking. The components of the timing chain drive, especially the tensioner, have a relatively low lifespan. The Vanos variable valve timing system and Valvetronic system also have a shorter service life. Additionally, engines of this family are notorious for regular leaks of lubricant and antifreeze. Weak points of the engine include the water pump, thermostat, and secondary oxygen sensor.

The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine Mini W11B16A was installed by the company between 2001 and 2008 and used in Mini models with the R52 and R53 body styles, such as the Cooper S or John Cooper Works. This powertrain achieved high performance thanks to the Eaton M45 supercharger. The Tritec series also includes engines: W10B14A and W10B16A.
The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine Mini John Cooper Works N14B16C was produced from 2008 to 2012 and installed in higher-powered versions of the second generation Mini models with the R55, R56, or R57 body types. The same powertrain was used in Peugeot and Citroen vehicles under their own index EP6DTS. The Prince series includes: N12B14A, N12B16A, N14B16A, N16B16A, N18B16A, and N18B16C.
The 1.3-liter petrol engine Ford Ka 1.3 J4D was installed by the company in the years 1996-2002 and used only in the first generation of the very popular Ka model on the European market. There was also a weaker version of this engine with the designation JJB. The Endura-E series also includes engines with the designation: JJA.
The 1.5-liter turbo engine GW4B15D by Great Wall is produced at the factory in China since 2021 and currently only installed in all-wheel-drive versions of the popular Jolion crossover here. This engine differs from its predecessor with a very high compression ratio of 11.8. Other available engines include: GW4B15A, GW4C20A, GW4C20B, GW4C20NT, and GW4N20.
