BMW M62 Engine
The BMW eight-cylinder engine series M62 with a displacement ranging from 3.5 to 4.6 liters was produced from 1996 to 2005 and installed in popular models of the company, such as the E39 version of the 5 Series and the E38 version of the 7 Series. Alpina developed a series of power units based on this engine with a displacement of up to 5.0 liters and a power output of 400 horsepower. The V8 engine lineup also includes the following engines: M60, N62, and N63.
