Overview and Common Failures

Body and interior The paintwork is thin but the body is galvanized and effectively resists corrosion. On forums, there are complaints about chrome bubbling and often occurring after the first winter. The sedan's interior is spacious, made of decent materials, and comes with pleasing options. The downsides include unstable assembly quality and mediocre sound insulation. Engine Both engines, 2.0 G4NA and 2.4 G4KJ, are reliable and low-maintenance. However, the issue of cylinder scoring applies to these engines as well. With active driving and frequent harsh starts, the timing chain doesn't last very long. Transmission The 6-speed automatics A6MF1 and A6MF2 are known for their exceptional performance. Suspension The suspension in this model is very comfortable and has high energy capacity. Owners have no particular complaints about steering and braking systems.
