Overview and Common Failures

Body and Interior The paint coating is very thin, chips and scratches appear quickly. However, the crossover's body is galvanized and resists corrosion for a long time. Forums complain only about the short-lived chrome and the very small ground clearance. The car's interior is made of quality materials and has excellent sound insulation. Engine The 2.4-liter G4KJ engine has gotten rid of all its teething problems and no longer causes any concerns. The 3.5-liter V6 G6DC engine is also good, but it often consumes oil excessively. The 2.2-liter D4HB diesel engine is very reliable and highly valued on the used market. However, it quickly fails due to low-quality diesel fuel in the injection pump of the fuel system. Transmission The 6-speed automatic A6MF2 is famous for its reliability and high durability. However, this transmission occasionally makes rough shifts or simply hesitates. The 8-speed automatic A8LF2 works more adequately and shifts smoother. Watch out for all the splines in the AWD transmission as they rust quickly. Suspension The suspension is a bit stiff, but there are no complaints about the reliability and durability of the components so far. However, more and more expensive aluminum parts are being used in the construction. Many online users criticize the settings of the electric power steering, but the rack itself operates normally. Brake System No serious problems have been identified with the car's braking system yet.
