Hyundai Elantra 7

Hyundai introduced the seventh generation of the Hyundai Elantra in the CN7 body style for the first time in 2020, with production starting at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad at the end of the same year. In the Korean market, this model is known as the Avante, and in Australia, it is called the i30 Sedan. The Elantra lineup includes the following generations: XD (2000-2009), HD (2006-2011), MD (2010-2016), and AD (2015-2020).

Overview and Common Failures

Body and Interior The paint coating is thin and prone to chipping, but the body is galvanized. The sedan's interior features good materials, excellent ergonomics, and good sound insulation. Engine The 1.6-liter power unit was inherited from its predecessor and is quite reliable. It is still unknown whether the manufacturer has managed to solve the problem of scoring. The 2.0-liter engine is completely new, and there is no statistical data available yet. Transmission The automatic gearbox is well-known from the previous generation and has proven to be reliable. Suspension There are currently no complaints about the suspension, braking system, or steering control of the car.
