Overview and Common Failures

The body and interior The paint coating is quite thin, but the galvanized body holds up well. In this generation, the quality of the interior materials has improved, so it does not peel off quickly anymore. As for the drawbacks of this car, we can mention the slippery leather on the steering wheel and weak soundproofing. Engine Both power units are reliable and have a good lifespan, but only with proper maintenance. Problems with scuff marks occur less frequently, but there are still quite a few complaints. Owners also often have to replace the timing chain at a mileage of 100 - 150 thousand km. Transmission The six-speed manual and automatic transmissions have stood the test of time and are known for their reliability. Suspension, steering, and braking systems do not have any weak points discovered yet.
