Overview and Common Failures

Body and Interior The body is relatively good and resists corrosion for a long time in non-damaged cars. The cheap interior quickly wears out and starts squeaking, and the sound insulation is poor. Electrical issues frequently occur, with poorly waterproofed connectors being to blame. Engine Both power units are structurally simple and rarely trouble their owners. Their weak points include a very small lifespan of spark plugs and timing belt. Transmission The manual transmission is decent, however, the clutch does not last long, sometimes less than 50,000 km. The automatic transmission is reliable, but the performance with it will satisfy only a patient driver. Chassis The suspension is generally sturdy, and only the rear shock absorbers are often replaced before reaching 100,000 km. The ABS system often fails here, and it is also not very efficient.
