Overview and Common Failures

This sedan is a clone of the Grant and has a wide range of spare parts available from it. The quality of the paintwork is weak, and the car quickly gets chipped. In comparison to the Grant, additional sound insulation and door closers have been added to the car. The electrical system in the cabin is not reliable and the stereo often malfunctions. Engine There are minimal complaints about the engines, if something does break, it can be repaired inexpensively. Until 2018, the engines were interference, meaning that the valves bent with a timing belt failure. Transmission The manual transmission makes a loud noise at certain rpm ranges. Suspension The support bearings and tie rod ends in the suspension of this model do not last long.
