Overview and Common Failures

This hatchback is a clone of the Kalina 2, so there are no problems with spare parts. The paint coating is weak, chips appear quickly and immediately start to turn yellow. Compared to the Kalina 2, the sound insulation is better here, and there are door closers for the front doors. The interior electrical system is not known for its reliability, and the radio in particular often fails. Engine Both engines are quite reliable, and if anything breaks, it can be repaired inexpensively. Until 2018, the valves of the engines would bend with a timing belt failure, meaning they were interference engines. Transmission There are no complaints about the automatic transmission, but the manual transmission here is noisy and the shift quality is mediocre. Suspension The most common parts to replace in the suspension are the support bearings, as well as the tie rod ends.
