Kia Xceed

The first generation of the Kia Xceed in the CD body was introduced by the Korean company in 2019, but it only arrived on our market a year later, and its assembly was launched in Kaliningrad. This crossover is based on the third generation Ceed hatchback and shares its powertrain groups with it.

Overview and Common Failures

Body and Interior The paintwork here is traditionally weak, but the body is galvanized and does not rust. The quality of the interior finish is good, the design is excellent, and the ergonomics are fine. For such a significant amount of money, one would like a bit more space and better sound insulation. Engine The 1.4-liter turbo engine recently appeared and has proven itself quite well. The 1.6-liter turbo engine has a bad reputation, but this is an updated version. With too aggressive driving, both engines can quickly stretch the timing chain. Transmission They have taught the robotic transmission to switch smoothly, but it is still too early to speak about its reliability. Suspension, Braking System, and Steering There are no particular complaints about the suspension, braking system, and steering of the car.
