Overview and Common Failures

Body and Interior The paintwork is weak, but the body itself is galvanized and holds up well. The interior materials are budget-friendly, but the assembly quality and resistance to wear are decent. Owners on forums complain about slippery leather on the steering wheel and poor soundproofing. Engine Both engines are reliable and have good longevity, but they require high-quality service. Problems with scuffing occur significantly less often, only with the 1.6-liter engine. Also, enthusiasts who rev the engine until it cuts off have to replace the chain at 150,000 km. Transmission Both manual and automatic transmissions are known for their reliability and do not cause any particular problems. Suspension, steering gear, and braking system have no weak points detected.
