The Volkswagen New Beetle A4 with the 9C body was produced in Germany and Mexico from 1997 to 2011 and was available in many automotive markets, including several customs union countries. The American and European models are based on the same platform but have many differences. The Beetle family also includes: A5 (2011 - 2019).
