Body and Interior The paint coating is soft, but the body is galvanized and chips do not quickly rust. Owners of this sedan often complain about fogging headlights and taillights. The interior of the car is quite good both in terms of material quality and ergonomics. Among the drawbacks are weak resistance to wear and insufficient sound insulation of the wheel arches. Engine Both engines with distributed injection rarely cause problems for their owners. One known issue with these engines is scoring due to catalyst breakdown. Active drivers often replace the timing chain at 100,000 - 150,000 km. Transmission Manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions are well-known and have proven themselves. Their weak points include frequent leaks in manual transmissions and sluggish performance of the automatic transmission in traffic jams. Suspension The suspension performs well, its parts are relatively inexpensive and widely available. Up to 100,000 km, only stabilizer struts and hub bearings are often replaced. Many also complain about weak rear springs and it is best not to overload the trunk. The steering rack is not known for reliability, but it is usually replaced under warranty. Minimum complaints about the braking system, with only unreliable ABS sensors being criticized.
