Overview and Common Failures
Body and Interior The paint coating is thin, but the body, apart from the rear door, holds up well. The materials in the interior are budget-friendly, but they have good resistance to wear and tear. The drawbacks include weak sound insulation, a heater motor, and the lock on the rear door. Engine Both power units have a decent lifespan and rarely cause trouble for their owners. Issues with cylinder scoring due to catalytic converter failure have not disappeared. The timing chain often stretches for active drivers at a mileage of 100-150 thousand km. Transmission There are no complaints about the manual gearbox, except that the clutch wears out quickly. Automatic transmissions are also reliable, but only with regular oil changes. In the first years, the splines of the all-wheel drive system shaft were worn out due to insufficient lubrication. Chassis The suspension performs well, although the rear shock absorbers may give out before reaching 100,000 km. The steering rack often annoys with its knocking sounds and is usually replaced under warranty.
