Overview and Common Failures

Since 2021, front-wheel drive versions of this sedan have been available in China with gasoline engines. Initially, options were offered with 1.5-liter JLC-4G15 engines, delivering 103 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque, with a choice between a 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT18 continuously variable transmission. Additionally, on some markets, there's an option with increased power up to 114 horsepower and 147 Nm of torque.

In late 2023, an updated Chinese version with a new engine was introduced. Now, modifications with a 1.5-liter BHE15-AFD engine are available, producing 122 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. For this version, both a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission are offered. In the Chinese market, this engine develops 127 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque.
