The first generation of Geely Coolray in the SX11 body is produced by the Chinese conglomerate since 2018. This crossover on the BMA platform has been sold under the new name Belgee H50 since August 2023.

From 2018 to 2022, the previous version of the model was sold in China, which was equipped with several engine options. One of them was a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (3G15TD) with 150 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automated manual transmission (7DCT). There were also more basic variants available with a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine (code JLB-4G14T).
In 2022, an updated version of the model was introduced, which included a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (BHE15-EFZ) with 181 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automated manual transmission (7DCT).
Isolated cases, albeit rare, require attention: sometimes the leather in the cabin tears easily, and there may be abrasions on the seats and steering wheel. Scratches on the dashboard and other interior elements are also possible. Some owners note weak cabin sound insulation and thin paint coatings prone to scratches. The car body also has its peculiarities: it is made of very thin metal, making it vulnerable to dents even from minor impacts. Problems may also arise with the standard windshield washer nozzles, which wear out quickly, and door seals may stiffen in frost. Some owners also note longitudinal play in the right driveshaft and inconvenience with the trunk.
